Watchung Branch of the Somerset County Library
Pratt home had a sign in front of it with the text “Four Sisters” making reference to the daughters of the Pratt family –Jane, Laurens, Deborah and Virginia.
The library was originally the Home of Mr & Mrs Harlan Platt and their children. Mr Platt owned Valley Furniture on the circle. The hose had a barn (still there) and a pool.
The Children’s section wing was added in 2001?
In 2025 a major renovation was begun to a a community center wing facing Valley drive.
